Wage cost benefit (LKV)

The wage cost benefit, known in Dutch as the loonkostenvoordeel or LKV, is a government incentive for employers who hire or retain certain target groups, such as older workers or people with a disability. The benefit is offset via the payroll tax return with the Dutch Tax Authority and paid out by UWV. The amount and duration depend on the target group and type of employment contract.
