Payroll tax return

The payroll tax return is the periodic declaration that an employer submits to the Dutch Tax Authority reporting wages paid and the associated wage tax and national insurance contributions owed. It is typically filed monthly or every four weeks. Wage cost benefits such as the LKV are offset through the payroll tax return.
