Environmental investment allowance (MIA)

The environmental investment allowance (MIA) is a tax deduction for environmentally friendly investments listed on the Environment List published by RVO. Like the EIA, it provides an extra deduction on top of normal depreciation. Combining it with the KIA is sometimes possible. Register the investment within three months of signing the investment agreement or you lose entitlement.
