Dividend withholding tax

Dividend withholding tax is a 15% source tax that a BV withholds on dividend payments to shareholders. As a DGA-shareholder, the Tax Authority offsets this against the box 2 income tax in your return, so you do not pay twice. The BV remits the withheld tax to the Tax Authority each month.
