Cash flow

Cash flow is the movement of money into and out of your business over a given period. Positive cash flow means more money comes in than goes out — essential for business survival. You can be profitable yet still suffer cash flow problems if customers pay late or large investments must be paid upfront. A cash flow forecast helps you anticipate shortfalls before they become crises.
