The cancellation button is a mandatory digital button on a webshop that allows consumers to cancel their online purchase or service within the legal cooling-off period of 14 days. The button must be clearly visible in the same online environment where the purchase was made. Cancelling must be just as easy as buying. From 19 June 2026, the cancellation button is legally required for all B2C webshops in the Netherlands.
